Who are these people?
Crescendo is made up of mainly business owners and sales people who are committed to getting more business sales. We are here above all to do business and help each other through the passing of referrals.

What do you all do?
Our members come from all kinds of businesses and industries. We only accept one person from any profession to join us. This is to ensure that referrals are passed effectively and without competition.

Why the early timing?
We meet at 7:30am in the morning so as to reduce disruption to the rest of the day. Our members and visitors' time are precious and we seek to minimize disruption to their work schedule. Being the first item in the day ensures that meetings are not missed due to a hectic work schedule. It's also much easier to have a meeting over breakfast rather than dinner.

Why at Chilli Padi Nonya Cafe, North Bridge Road?
We out-grew our previous meeting place and chose Chilli Padi Nonya Cafe for its central location, excellent facilities for a meeting and being able to meet all our needs.

Why is there a need to limit only one member to be allowed for each profession?
In BNI, our aim is to help members grow by giving qualified referrals to each other. If 2 or more members have to compete against each other for referrals, this will create ill-feelings among members as well as dilute the value of their involvement in BNI. Referrals are also most effective when they are given with a resounding recommendation to one party.

What do I need to prepare before attending as a visitor/guest?
If you have been invited to our meeting, do prepare lots of namecards (at least 30) as you can expect to meet over 30 members and visitors on any day. As a visitor, you will be given 30secs to introduce yourself and what you do to the whole group. You may wish to prepare this for a more effective introduction. You may also bring any pamphlets or brochures to share. The breakfast fee is $10, to be paid on registration.
