Business Network International (BNI), founded in 1985, is a business and professional networking organisation that offers members the opportunity to share ideas, contacts and, most importantly, referrals. It is the world’s largest referral organisation with chapters in many countries around the world. It was started by Dr Ivan Misner, one of the world’s leading experts in networking and word-of-mouth marketing (more details are available in the BNI website at: www.bni.com).

BNI provides a structured and supportive system of giving and receiving business. It does so by providing an environment in which we develop personal relationships with dozens of other qualified business professionals. It allows only ONE PERSON PER TRADE to be in a chapter. By establishing this “formal” relationship with other people, we will have the opportunity to substantially increase our business. Building business via referrals or word-of-mouth marketing is more cost-effective than advertising through the media.

ABOUT BNI CRESCENDO CHAPTER

BNI Crescendo Chapter was launched on 27^th April 2006. Crescendo received the “Best Rookie Chapter” and “Bronze Chapter” awards at the BNI Singapore 7^th Anniversary Award Nite held on 9^th September 2006. The following 2 years, they were awarded the “Best Chapter of the Year” and a host of other awards in recognition of their dynamic growth and outstanding members.

The key success factor of Crescendo is mainly due to the committed and passionate members, who truly believe in the “Giver’s Gain” philosophy.
